John Dillinger, the most notorious public enemy of the twentieth century, has inspired many films with his legend being reinterpreted each time out. This is one of the best - it was even awarded an Academy Award nomination for best screenplay. Lawrence Tierney ("Reservoir Dogs") stars as the mobster and Anne Jeffreys (Marion of TV's classic "Topper" series) is his moll.
