Handling

Politics, violence and love collide in three interconnected stories set in Haiti and in New York: A young woman struggling to forget a trauma reunites with her lover. A single mother striving for assimilation in the suburbs takes in her activist sister. The host of a popular anti-government radio show finds his estranged father on his doorstep and is forced to face the consequences of his father's actions.
